E' ormai finita l'estate e la ripresa dell'attività scout sta quasi per iniziare.

Il 12 e 13 ottobre 2019 avremo il bivacco iniziale con la Giornata dei Passaggi.

I Passaggi … un momento importantissimo nella vita di ogni ragazzo e ragazza scout, poiché segna l'ingresso in una nuova unità e quindi tante cose nuove da imparare e nuove avventure da vivere e affrontare; sarà un bellissimo momento di gruppo, per sottolineare la continuità del cammino,.con la presenza dei genitori dei ragazzi, dove i protagonisti della cerimonia, sono coloro i quali si trovano all'ultimo anno di Branco e di Reparto, che "passano" all'unità successiva, perché ormai hanno raggiunto l'età prescritta.

Dal sabato sussessivo invece sarà il primo sabato utile per chi volesse iniziare la bella avventura degli Scout per venire a provare e a divertirsi con tutti noi. e a tal proposito …

A UNA "FORCHETTA" DA TE

Negli ultimi mesi, noi del clan del gruppo scout Callianetto 1 abbiamo avuto modo di discutere e confrontarci su uno dei temi più controversi e caldi dell’ultimo periodo, ovvero la sostenibilità e la salvaguardia del nostro pianeta, ma più in piccolo, trattando argomenti che ci riguardano da vicino. Abbiamo quindi parlato di cibo, abbigliamento e tecnologia, soffermandoci, in modo particolare, sulla provenienza di cosa mangiamo, indossiamo e utilizziamo tutti i giorni, passando in rassegna i vari steps che portano un piatto di pasta sulla nostra tavola, una maglietta  nel nostro armadio e un telefono nelle nostre mani. Nelle nostre ricerche e nei nostri incontri, abbiamo anche avuto modo di scoprire e analizzare molte questioni che, durante la produzione di qualsiasi tipo di prodotto, causano gravi problematiche agli individui, in quanto lavoratori, in termini di diritti umani.Ci siamo quindi avvicinati al concetto di commercio equo e solidale e di km 0, con l’impegno di consumare prodotti salubri, buoni per noi e per l’ambiente.Nasce proprio da questo “A una forchetta da te”, un pranzo di autofinanziamento dove si avrà la possibilità di gustare piatti semplici e preparati completamente da noi, con ingredienti a km 0, di venire a conoscenza e di discutere di queste tematiche di cui noi, clan, abbiamo dibattuto durante l’anno.

Anche quest'anno ritorna l'annuale appuntamento del Gruppo "Ri-Puliamo il Mondo", che però si trasforma in "Puliamo Insieme", in quanto quest'anno, grazie con soddisfazione anche al nostro esempio, la Provincia di Asti ha deciso di  lanciare l'iniziativa cercando di coinvolgere più Comuni possiili, relative scuole e associazioni del territorio.

“Lasciate il mondo un po’ migliore di come l’avete trovato!”

Questo è quello che diceva Robert Baden Powell (fondatore dello scoutismo nel mondo), e dunque sabato 10 aprile gli scout di Callianetto in collaborazione con l'associazione di volontariato di Protezione Civile  RCM Monferrato Valleversa e il Comune di Castell’Alfero, hanno deciso di mettere in pratica questo monito.

Infatti, come associazione che si occupa dell'educazione dei ragazzi, l'obiettivo principale è quello di trasmettere e di sensibilizzare questi ultimi (ma, perchè no, anche gli adulti) al rispetto, alla salvaguardia dell'ambiente e di un territorio così bello e prezioso.

L'iniziativa ovviamente sarà aperta a tutti quelli che vorranno unirsi e dare il loro contributo pratico. Vi aspettiamo numerosi.

 

Una domenica primaverile e piena di sole ha accolto i numerosi partecipanti alla giornata “Ripuliamo il mondo 2”, l’iniziativa promossa dal gruppo scout Callianetto 1 domenica 26 febbraio per ripulire i territori in cui viviamo.L’evento ha coinvolto le amministrazioni comunali di Portacomaro, Frinco e Castell’Alfero, la Proloco di Frinco, il gruppo Alpini di Portacomaro e la protezione Civile RCM Monferrato Valleversa.

 

Alla giornata hannopartecipato tante persone gioiose e desiderose di pulire il territorio, le strade, i fossi, i boschi, da rifiuti abbandonati da persone prive di senso civico e di sensibilità ambientale.

I dati parlano chiaro: 1100 kg di rifiuti ingombranti e 1400 kg di indifferenziata raccolti dai volontari nel solo comune di Castell’Alfero, circa 2500 kg di rifiuti raccolti nel comune di Portacomaro e 1000 kg circa nel comune di Frinco. Durante tutta la mattinata, i rifiuti sono stati recuperati dai camion della protezione civile e portati nel luogo preposto per lo smaltimento. La varietà dei rifiuti abbandonati nella natura ha stupito tutti, così come la quantità.

 

Una entità così grande di rifiuti, forse addirittura maggiore rispetto agli anni precedenti, ci fa riflettere sulla necessità di una continua educazione al rispetto ambientale, soprattutto partendo dai più giovani, e sull’urgente bisogno di fare qualcosa di concreto.

Dopo quattro ore di raccolta e moltissimirifiuti recuperati, tra i più disparati, tutti i volontari si sono ritrovati in teatro a Castell’Alfero per condividere insieme il pranzo preparato dagli amici di Portacomaro.

 

Il gruppo scout ringrazia tutti i partecipanti, dai più grandi ai più piccini, per questa bella giornata insieme e aspetta tutti l’anno prossimo per pulire ancora più strade, boschi, fossi, e per educare al rispetto dell’ambiente, così importante nella nostra vita.
